Noir Film Festival

We are thrilled to announce the first annual Jump Cut Pittsburgh Noir Film Festival happening on September 19th, 2026 at The Parkway Theater & Film Lounge in the seductive, dark and rainy alleyways of Pittsburgh, PA.

The Jump Cut Pittsburgh Noir Film Festival highlights the beloved dark cinematic noir genre and all of its glorious moral ambiguity. We welcome independent filmmakers with short films across every neo-noir sub-genre and encourage inventive interpretations of these classic tones.

Join us for one night only at The Parkway Theater & Film Lounge and enjoy a cocktail while consuming the fatalism onscreen!

What to expect:

  • A full bar and food menu, including specially themed drinks.
  • Hand picked film noir-style works from local Pittsburgh filmmakers and talented artists from around the world.
  • Q&A with the filmmakers after each showcase.
  • A filmmaker mixer to mingle with the filmmakers and fellow film noir aficionados.
